Tuna and Bean Salad

Ingredients

1 tin of tuna (250g)
¼ red onion thinly sliced
4 tbsp tinned kidney beans or haricot beans
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp lemon juice (fresh or from a Jiff lemon)
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tomato  

Serves 1

Each serving = 2 portion of your 5-A-Day  

Method  

  1. Mix the tuna, onion and beans together in a bowl.
  2. Mix together the tomato ketchup, lemon juice and white wine vinegar. Pour over the tuna salad. Add the sliced tomato and serve.

Top Tip

Serve with your favourite brown bread for a nutritious, healthy meal.
